One disadvantage of sporting an arm site for my Dexcom sensor:
They're within reach of tiny hands and tend to be grabbed onto any time a "handle" is needed. (And those tiny hands tend to release their grip seconds before you're able to snap a photo, but I trust you can use your imagination.)
My nieces and nephew all tend to find where I've placed my pod and use it as a foot rest when I'm hold them (back and stomach sites most often!).
ReplyDeleteI knew what this post was about the second I saw the title. The Magpie has started using my infusion site as a handle, too. It's like wall climbing with diabetes technology.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of my much younger cousin using a (not even very large) mole on his mom's neck as a "handle." I love baby hands. And Dexcom!
