Today marks 27 years since I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I don't have much in the way of profound reflections or revelations this year, but what I do have is a life and health I will continue to be thankful for.
I'll be in search of celebratory cupcakes after work today - bring on the Super Bolus!
Just want to say Happy Diaversary... Today is my son's 3rd year diaversary... Thank you for giving me hope today... The first 2 didn't really affect me, but this one has hit me hard and seeing success stories like yours keep my hope going that he will continue to thrive... God Bless and congratulations

ReplyDeleteCongrats to you! I hear the next 27 are the easiest...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the celebration!
Congrats and way to go! Just celebrated my 49th year as a T1D (since 9 years old) and am in pretty good shape for the shape I'm in. There are tough times but a good attitude helps :)
DeleteNicely done! I might just have to eat a cupcake in your honor tonight and super bolus along.
ReplyDeleteIf I had a cupcake, I'd eat it in your honor!
ReplyDeleteHappy 27 years of "I can do this."
Yay! Happy 27th, Kim!
ReplyDeleteWay to celebrate Kim!!!

Just wanted to wish you a happy diaversary! I hope you enjoyed your cupcake! :)
ReplyDeleteHow about that? We were given the same name at birth, diagnosed with diabetes in the same year... and are both amazing, right?! Congratulations ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd both enjoy cupcakes?
