Day 3 of Give All The Things, in the hooooooouse! For those who have been asking - you can win more than one contest, so keep coming back and commenting on the giveaways you're interested in!
Product: One prize pack with a full bottle of each glucose tab flavor offering (Orange Cream, Wildberry, and Cherry), tube(s) for carrying them around with you, and stickers!
Made possible by: GlucoLift
Why you want this: These are glucose tabs I actually enjoy consuming. I've also given these to FWoD (friends without diabetes) for taste testing purposes, who can testify that these are not the unpleasant, chalky, dust-emitting concoctions you may be used to. Can I use the word "yummy"? I think I just did. (Also of note: GlucoLift contains no artificial ingredients, and are certified non-GMO by the non-GMO project.)
To enter today's giveaway contest: Leave a comment beLOW! Make sure to include the word "low" somewhere in your comment. (Example in the first sentence. Isn't it LOW-vley?) Entries must be time-stamped by 9:00 pm CST; this post will be updated shortly after then with the name of the winner! This contest is open to U.S. and Canadian addresses only.
**One note: please sign your comments as something other than "Anonymous" - and if you don't want to use your real name, make up a moniker! I can't identify you if you don't tell me who you are! :)
For more information on what "Give All The Things" is about, visit the original post.
(I'm sorry, but I have to steal your word, and I'll use my own). Being low is NOT low-vley, but being given free glucose tabs is lovely! And these are my favorite, especially the Orange Cream!
ReplyDeleteI've never had cherry tabs before, but I'd like to give them a shot next time I'm LOW.
ReplyDeleteI usually eat starburst when I'm LOW and don't have any glucose tablets around, but I'm getting pretty sick of 'em and would like a new option :)
ReplyDeleteI need glucose tabs for if (when) I go low in my car, and I don't feel like buying any. This would help. :)
ReplyDeleteDoes it LOWer my chances since I'm commenting from Italy? But I have a US address? I am still confused about this....who am I?? Where do I belong??
ReplyDeleteHa! Jasmine, you're in. And I should reword it to say "U.S. and Canadian addresses", not residents. Noted! :)
DeleteThe only tabs I can buy here are Dex Tabs, and the are so chalky they make me feel sick when I'm LOW! I'd love to give these a try!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually running low on glucose tabs... so of course winning these would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteI actually haven't seen Glucolift in any stores that I frequent, but people talk about them online a lot. I suppose I'll go check the site to see where they're sold.
-Rachel
Rachel - as of now, I think they're only available through Amazon.
DeleteI'd love to try these tabs for when I'm low! The Walgreens brand is getting old.
ReplyDeletei love glucolift, and i'm getting low on my supply! :)
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to have some Glucolift for Jacob folLOWing a LOW BG. I know he LOWthes Level Life.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't tried these yet and I would LOW-ve to be able to.
ReplyDeleteThere is that song by Garth Brooks entitled Friends in Low places. I wonder if it can be redone into a low based remix. Something like, "I've got glucose in low places, where the glucose tabs and soda chases my lows away... I'll be okay."
ReplyDeleteBonus points for you, Brian. WOW.
DeleteWhen I camper (12 years ago!) the boys cabin did this remix :) It was my first introduction to it and I've loved it ever since!
DeleteI've heard so much about GlucoLift and would love to try them -- but I've been loyal to the Walmart ReliOn brand because the price is LOWer.
ReplyDeleteI was low earlier, and chugged some Mountain Dew... But these would be super useful for actually treating lows properly!
ReplyDeleteWould be a loveley low treatment!
ReplyDeleteJen
I've love to try this brand to LOW-er the amount of artificial ingrediants I use to treat lows.
ReplyDeleteGlucoLift glucose is WAY tastier than any other glucose tabs I've tried. My bf eats them like candy - I think he uses them to treat his psychological "lows" nearly as often as I use them to treat my real ones. Yay for a wildberry tab that tastes like real wildberries!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope that these really do taste better than normal glucose tabs. When I get really low, under 50 or dropping fast, I eat them like candy, so it would be nice to have a tab that actually tastes like candy!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried these before....i'd love to win! Dealt with 2 lLOWS last night - they sucked, but todays sunny and wonderful!
ReplyDeleteCorey
Wildberry bLOWs my mind - yum!
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to find another brand that Nate can eat when he is LOW as he will only eat Dex4 right now.
ReplyDeleteI want this!! So much! Unfortunately, I'm not a resident of the US/Canada, but THANK YOU for considering us over the pond as far as possible! I'll just come back tomorrow. :-)
ReplyDelete(Btw. I want them so much because I've read a lot of cheering comments on Gluco-Lift and they are not available here in Europe - not even via Amazon. I have to admit that I kinda hoped for this give-away...)
Turns out this morning was I like to call a "Solar-Flare" Diabetes Morning, because I took my usual amount of insulin for the breakfast that I eat every morning and by the time I'm at work (I work at a Diabetes clinic) I'm thinking "I'm Low." Turns out I'm 65.
ReplyDeleteIt's days like this that I'm glad that I'm not driving into work anymore and that I have a carpool system.
Silly Diabetes.
How unfortunate that we have a pancreas that is beLOW average but products like these make it much easier to deal with : ) Would love to try these!
ReplyDeleteWhen i'm feeling LOW, you always LIFT me up (mood and BG :). Thanks for including us Canadian folks in the contest - acquiring Glucolift here in Canada is a challenge (though special order works, I hear) and i'm just dying to try them out.
ReplyDeleteA yummier way to treat a LOW.. I'm all in
ReplyDeleteGlucolift tabs are so lovely when I'm LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW. My T1D honey agrees!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure you should be alLOWed to have so many LOW puns in one place.
ReplyDeleteI know, that one was a stretch! LOL! :D
I haven't tried glucose tabs to treat a lows for probably 15 years, so I'd be excited to try something new and see how much they've changed.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter would love to try these next time she goes low. :)
ReplyDeleteThere are times when I am low that I actively search out the Flo-Rida song "LOW".
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many carbs are in Apple Bottom jeans?
DeleteWhen I'm low, I usually have to eat yucky, chalky glucose tabs, that I really hate; but if I could try these different ones, I would celebrate!!!! :o) (I'm in a rhyming mood!)
ReplyDeleteToday I found out my daughter was not alLOWed to have LOW-busters at her desk because she was sneaking them during class!!! We had a serious chat and she has been given a second chance.
ReplyDeleteMy t1 daughter would LOWve to try these!
ReplyDeletethanks so much for doing these give aways- it really lifts a low!
I think I've used glucose tabs for LOWS maybe 6 times in my over 20 years of diabetes. I'd LOVE to try these! My friend, on the other hand, would have LOWS when addressing the embassy where we worked, and she would bring a bottle up to the podium! Thanks for this fun give away! Hope all the responses don't bLOW you away! :)
ReplyDeleteTracy
Swing LOW....Sweet Chariot....
ReplyDeleteTristan would love to try something new when he's low!
ReplyDeleteShorty got Low, Low, Low! But thanks to GlucoLift she was able to continue dancing with her friends.
ReplyDeleteJason
Darnit! You stole my idea :)
DeleteBeing T2 I don't fight with lows too often but because of one of the drugs I am taking I can go too low. I carry glucose tablets with me at all times and would love to try these. I've heard nothing but good things about them.
ReplyDeleteI must be the only one to actually like treating a LOW with glucose tabs. At least the raspberry ones. LOVE the raspberry ones, tolerate the watermelon ones and the rest are a bit vile. But now that I've heard so much about GlucoLift I would love to try them to compare!
ReplyDeleteBeing Low is no fun... Most tabs are yucky and recently I have tried the quick sticks; but would be interested in trying something that is more natural... and its nice to have options when low.
ReplyDeleteGlucolift: the tab even a D-mom might eat.
ReplyDeleteI usually go out of my way to avoid glucose tabs when I'm low. I've been meaning to give the glucolift tabs a try, so this would be a perfect opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI stopped using glucose tabs to treat LOWs a long time ago because I hated the taste. But I'm totally willing to give these a try since everyone keeps raving about them!
ReplyDeleteAh! I want these! I have wanted to try them, but they cost a bit more than some other glucose tabs and I just can't afford it. Typically when I am low I now treat with juice boxes, but try putting a straw in a juice box while driving - it's not easy.
ReplyDeleteWhen life give you low-mons (i.e., lemons), treat yo'self with some GlucoLift yummies. (Thank you Parks and Recreation for the "treat yo'self" line.)
ReplyDeleteSimply fantastic.
DeleteI would LOWve some of these for my LOWS. I don't like being LOW and would like something tasty to treat them with.
ReplyDeleteI over"low"ded Justin with insulin and now I need some Gluco to lift him back up ;)
ReplyDeleteI LOWed glucolift
ReplyDeleteI would LOWve to have some of these for treating LOWs, I seem to keep LOWsing my usual tabs.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's down my sugar is fLOWing, my whole body is sLOWing! If I win these Gluco-Lift tabs, up my sugar will be going!
ReplyDeleteI'd love these for a more pleasant way to treat during the hoLOWdays!
ReplyDeleteHe-LOW! Send some of those my way!
ReplyDeleteI have looked high and low for something like this!
ReplyDeleteSo, I am decorating for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is up, lights are bright. New GREAT DANE PUPPY really wants those ornaments to be hung on the LOW branches. Just as he snags an ornament...
*BEEEEP* Puppy: *Drops the ornament!* What's that?
Dexcom: Oh, just a LOW of 49.
Me: Nice. Where's my glucose tabs?
Kelly Clarkson has a song called "Low."
ReplyDeleteHave you ever been lowwwwwwwwww?
Good song, looks like good glucose tabs.
I will love to GlucoLift my "low" :-)
ReplyDeleteI really want to give these a try for treating lows - I use the Target store brand
ReplyDeleteWhen not playing "how low can I go" I treat my lows!
ReplyDeleteWe may not need a 'low-rida' but we could use some GLUCOLIFT!!
ReplyDeleteThe only kind of glucose tab that I can get to LOWer down my throat when I am LOW is Glucolift... everything else makes my smile LOW as they are the LOWest form of food item that exists. Maybe Glucolift should make their slogan: Lifts when you're LOW, cause "ew" faces are a no-no!
ReplyDeleteBeen wanting to try these for my LOW's!!
ReplyDeleteIt bLows going Low in the snow! Some Glucolift would be awesome on the ski slopes!
ReplyDelete-Jillian
These comments are cracking me up especially because I'm low at the moment :) No thanks to LOWering my basal rate which was supposed to prevent that from happening!
ReplyDeleteWill need some of these Glucolifts when I run, because even though I'm sLOW as dirt, I still drop like a rock with the thought of running!
ReplyDelete*insert comment with funny pun using the word low here*
ReplyDeleteC:

ReplyDeleteShonelle :)
I want to do the limbo in Antarctica. That way I could REALLY get low.
ReplyDeleteHelLOW! I've been wanting to try these suckers - anything's gotta be better than than the fruity chalk frisbees I've been using.
ReplyDeleteI just ordered the cherry flavor from Amazon, and was forced to use them for a middle of the night low. Although I can't say I remember them tasting good, I also could have eaten chalk and said the same. I am looking forward to trying them again when I'm more conscious. But I'm not looking forward to the low. 'Cause that would be dumb. Although I feel dumb when I'm low...
ReplyDeleteMy 8year old was LOW the other day and getting Glucolift out of the cupboard, he says "Mom, are these in stores in the US?" My response "umm, I am not sure, not the big ones like Wal-mart or Target...but I think he's working on getting them into those kind of stores.." My son's response "Chris needs to get on this! These Glucolift tablets Rock! And i'm not just saying that because I'm low either"....love it!!
