For those who aren't familiar with the tem "hipster", here you go.

And if you thinking having an insulin pump with a rotary dial is actually kind of awesome... you might be one. (Spoiler: I'm raising my hand.)

    OMG, this is freaking hilarious! Reminds me of the time someone on TuD mentioned that he liked his Minimed pump because it had a "retro, steampunk" look to it. Not to mention I sometimes feel like my pancreas is a lazy hipster, one that sits around all day watching Netflix and surfing on his Mac Pro at Starbucks but not really accomplishing anything. But I digress....

    I have a hard enough time trying to explain to Bean how we used to have to turn dials on the TV to get the channel to change...can't imagine the conversation about a rotary dial!! ;)

    I think if my pump/CGM had a rotary dial, it might also have an actual bell ringer. Then I'd hear it at night.

    I guess Blünt Lancet it's too mainstream for hipsters?
