Today's prompt: Inspired by the Diabetes 365 project, let’s snap a few more d-related pictures and share them again. Post as many or as few as you’d like. Be creative! Feel free to blog your thoughts on or explanations of your pictures. Or leave out the written words and let the pictures speak for themselves.

A sure sign that 23 days is far too long to wear a Dexcom sensor.
(But it was a new record!)
Love Dex. Hate the ???. 23 days is kick ass!
ReplyDeleteWe go 14 only cause I worry about Js skin...sorry Im yapping again lol
Wow! 23 days..that is amazing! Try as I might, Addison's usually don't go for more than 10..usually crap out at 7!
ReplyDeleteThat is great you got 23 days before seeing the dreaded ???.
ReplyDeleteYowza! 23 days! We've gotten as many as 14. Sounds as though 23 might be record-setting within the DOC!
ReplyDeleteI only made it 8 days on our first try and it was wonky as all get out. I need some lessons from you guys!
ReplyDeleteWow 23days? Does wearing it that long irritate your skin?
ReplyDeleteHey Pearlsa! The last time I wore a sensor this long, I did have some issues with the skin being bright red and irritated under the adhesive. This time (at least, so far - just realized I haven't looked at my leg in several hours) it seems to have been okay. *shrugs*
ReplyDeleteWOW! Ours falls off before the sensor has a chance to ???
ReplyDelete23 days... holy moly!!
Harry's went for 23 days one time, too!! We were so excited. Many times it is right on at the end of the second week and into the third week. He is on Medicare and they don't recognize the need for a sensor so we pay for everything. How sad they they don't realize that the Dexcom is saving them from the expense of an ambulance and an emergency room visit. We keep hoping that it will change.
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow!! 23 days is amazing!! I didn't even know it was possible!! : ) HOlly
ReplyDelete23 as in a TWO and a THREE, right?
ReplyDeleteHOLLA and HIP BUMP! THAT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME :)
Wow! I can't get mine to stick longer than 8 days! The sensor holds up but the sticky doesn't...
