This past Saturday, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting up with a few of my fellow diabetes bloggers (and their significant others).
Jeff and
Caroline joined A and I at the famed
Insulin Exhibit (at the New York Historical Society), with
Allison and
Gina joining us later to round out our group for dinner. We took a few pictures, and I thought I'd share. It was a pleasure meeting you all!

Meter Power! (Because we're nerdy like that.)
Kim, Gina, Jeff, Allison, and Caroline. |
Nice! D-Meetups are always great, especially when there's pump sandwiches and Meter Power on tap! Great times, indeed. Thanks for connecting and sharing that!
ReplyDeleteThat is an AWESOME Diet Coke action shot!
ReplyDeleteSo cool that you got to meet Jeff, Caroline, Allison, & Gina!
What did you think of the exhibit?
Scott - the exhibit was great. So interesting to read all about the stories surrounding it. I also got yelled at by the security guard for taking pictures, so that was "awesome".
ReplyDeleteThe meter power picture is pretty much my new favorite thing ever. Have you noticed that Jeff is, like, the pimp amongst the D-ladies?
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm so glad you had a wonderful time and I'm so happy you shared the great pictures with us. But I'm so so bummed it didn't work out for me and P to come with you guys. :(
ReplyDeletelooks like you had a hell of a great time, love the diet coke action
ReplyDeleteSaturday was a lot of fun! Thanks for including us in your weekend adventure.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yeah, I'm like the Leon Phelps (from "The Ladies Man") of the D-OC: "I will probably begin with a very classy first line... something like: say, sweet thing, can I buy you some glucose tablets?"
If you're ever in Cleveland, let me know. :)
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!! Looks like a good time!!
