If you're wearing a black shirt and manage to sprinkle some glucose tab dust onto it, do yourself a favor and lift the shirt to shake the powder off. Don't bat, flick, or rub.
Thanks for the tip! :) Or, you could just joke about about it, and say that it is your diabetes glitter. Well, dust, glitter, ? Just trying to turn something frustrating, which I've dealt with before too, into something fun and cute-ish. And @Sarah/@smartDpants, you just made me think... I use smarties for glucose tabs all the time, but pixie sticks as glucose tabs... that would be more fun, and possibly less messy? A thought. :)
I had glucose dust all over my pants for the better part of last Tuesday, and I didn't realize it until I got home.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip!
Or keep a lint roller and roll over it. :-)
ReplyDeleteI like to think of it as special D-dust, like pixie dust except better. maybe. ;)
ReplyDeleteOr snort it like George does ;)
ReplyDeleteThe title made me blush. ;)
ReplyDeleteLol! At least it wasn't a white shirt and some blood...we are just not safe wearing anything are we?!!?!? :)
